Vetter Communications CEO Jutta Vetter has been invited as a guest lecturer to the international ICT Summer School at Metropolia University of Applied Sciences. Vetter will contribute to the Strategic Business Communication course, in which her presentation will focus on risk management in communication, crisis communication as well as corporate reputation management. In her lecture, she will also discuss the importance of media relations and PR in this context.
The ICT Summer School, organized by Metropolia University of Applied Sciences in Helsinki, brings together students and teachers from more than 30 countries. Ten students from the Oregon Institute of Technology will travel to Finland to participate in Metropolia’s courses as part of a short-term exchange program.
The Strategic Business Communication course is led by Dr. Sonja Bickford and Dr. Ruth Claire Black. Another course, Cybersecurity of Airports and Transportation Hubs, is taught by Professor Gary Lomprey. Both courses led by Oregon Tech will be held during the first week of the ICT Summer School, during which Jutta Vetter will be lecturing.
Jutta Vetter will give a special guest lecture for the students and share her experience and expertise with them. The students will be writing strategic communication plans as an integral part of the course. Her talk will focus on risk and crisis communication strategies, and the relevance of public relations and reputation management.
